ABOUT KESTON GROUP

What we are — and what we offer.

A clear company outline: who we serve, how we show up, and the three surfaces of the firm.

01 / THE FIRM

Independent executive technology advisory

Keston Group helps Boards, CEOs and investors make confident decisions about business performance, growth and risk — connecting technology, cyber security, AI, delivery and investment into one executive view.

02 / WHO WE SERVE

Boards · CEOs · Investors

Leadership teams that need significance, priority and ownership — not another specialist pack. Privately held, London-based, deliberately small: senior judgement at the centre.

03 / WHAT WE OFFER

Three surfaces. One standard.

  • Technology Pulse™ — flagship six-domain assessment, Board report and living portal view
  • Independent Executive Advisory — strategy, cyber resilience, AI governance, due diligence and senior counsel
  • Client Portal — where Pulse stays alive between Board cycles

WHO WE ARE

Boards rarely lack reporting. They lack one clear view.

Technology, cyber and AI often reach the room through separate functions, frameworks and vendors — activity without a shared sense of what matters.

We built Keston for that gap. Not to add another programme, but to give leadership an independent read of significance, confidence, priority and ownership — then help them decide what needs attention next. Platform and Advisory share the same discipline: independence, evidence and proportion.

The question is not whether there is enough information. It is whether leadership can see what matters.

BOARD OUTCOME

Illustrative · anonymised composite · not a named client

The Board left with one score, three owners, and a cyber exposure they could name.

Pattern we see often enough to stand behind: a mid-market Board with rising cyber concern, AI ambition without decision rights, and three specialist packs that never converged on one executive narrative.

01 · SITUATIONStable on paper. Unowned in the room.

Overall technology confidence looked acceptable in the packs. Residual cyber exposure had no named executive owner. Data + AI sat as “opportunity” without Board-visible decision rights — so spend and risk conversations stayed disconnected.

02 · WHAT KESTON DIDPulse structure. Advisory challenge.

Technology Pulse™ scored six domains, surfaced concentration, and kept the live picture in the client portal. Advisory challenged ownership gaps, refused a longer programme, and framed a 90-day agenda the Chair could run without us in the room.

03 · OUTCOMEDecision confidence — owned
  • One confidence score and exposure label the Chair could defend in under a minute
  • Three Board priorities with named executive owners and timing
  • Material cyber exposure addressed before the next Audit & Risk cycle

Composite of engagement patterns — not attributed to a named organisation. Shared for clarity of outcome, not as a case study claim.

INSIDE THE FIRM

Senior counsel. Boardroom gravity. Deliberate growth.

How we think, who leads, how Platform and Advisory operate — and the moments that typically bring a Board to the table.

01 / HOW WE THINK

See significance before activity

Boards rarely lack information. They lack a shared view of what is working, what requires attention, where risk is building, and whether investment is creating value — across technology, cyber and AI.

  • Read domains as one connected system, not separate specialist tours
  • Distinguish assertion from evidence before the room buys the pack
  • Leave with a short agenda leadership can run without another programme
INVESTORS · DILIGENCE

A technology view for diligence — not another vendor tour.

Portfolio companies and transactions often need an independent executive read of technology confidence, cyber exposure and AI readiness — a baseline leadership can defend, before capital or capacity is committed.

Short pathway: bring the diligence question. We will confirm whether a Pulse-shaped baseline, focused Advisory challenge, or both fits the timeline.

THE MODEL

Small senior core. Trusted specialist reach.

Keston provides the independent strategic assessment and Board-level recommendation.

Where specialist technology or security work should follow, trusted partners can be introduced to execute. The distinction remains explicit: Keston shapes the requirement and protects the independent view; the right specialist delivers the work.

THE NEXT CONVERSATION

Start with what leadership needs to understand.

Bring the Board question. A short conversation will establish whether Technology Pulse™, Executive Advisory, or both is the right route.
